SPECIAL ED: I can't find a deleted message
You need to be running PhoneFile PRO Special Edition in order to retrieve deleted text messages on the SIM. If you are running this version, there are a number of possible reasons why it might not be able to recover a previously-deleted message. For instance, the SMS storage area on the SIM card is limited in size, and so the space used by deleted messages can be re-used by the phone to store a subsequent message, if there are no other free slots. Certain phones also store some SMS text messages in their internal memory as well as on the SIM card, often to provide a larger capacity 'in-box' than that provided on the SIM. However, you can usually configure the phone to store messages on the SIM, just as you can configure where your phonebook contacts are stored.
