This is a known problem with an old version of the manufacturer's drivers for this model of SIM reader, when combined with certain newer SIM cards.
It can be solved easily by downloading and installing updated device drivers from the OMNIKEY web site. Please visit the downloads section at www.omnikey.com and select the Windows PC/SC driver for CardMan CM2020 & CM6020.
