On some GSM phones, your phonebook entries can be stored either in the SIM card, or in the phone’s own memory. It is likely that you have stored your phone numbers in the phone's memory instead of on the card. Most phones offer a function to copy your numbers from one location to another, so you should put your card back into your phone and perform this function before using PhoneFile PRO.
You only need to do this once, and you should then keep all your numbers stored in your SIM card, to make future editing and updating easier.
