Pipistrel's flagship GSM SIM phonebook management solution was called PhoneFile PRO. Launched in 1997, this was the first consumer SIM management tool to reach the market and continued to sell across a wide range of user groups and markets for 15 years before being retired in 2012. PhoneFile PRO provided consumers, businesses and telecom service providers with the ability to back up, transfer and exchange the contacts data stored in their mobile phone SIM, as well as a variety of other security and SIM management facilities.
